I'm Rosa; the face behind Care Beyond.
I am a healthcare operational director with over 15 years of experience leading change across consultancy, hospitals, and private clinics in the Netherlands and internationally.
I started my career at a boutique healthcare consultancy in the Netherlands. After eight years of advising organisations, I realised I wanted to understand change from the inside; not just recommend it. That brought me into hospitals and specialised clinics; where my true passion lies. The moments that energise me most are when healthcare professionals become so inspired by a shared goal that their ambition overtakes mine. That is when I know something real is happening.
My academic background in Psychology, Statistics, and an MBA in Healthcare Management gives me both the analytical tools and the human understanding to work at the intersection of people, processes, and results. I bring structure and clarity to complex challenges; and I stay until the work is done.
One moment I am particularly proud of: navigating a crisis situation while keeping every healthcare professional genuinely involved. Not despite the pressure, but because of the way we faced it together. We came through it stronger than anyone expected.
For now, Care Beyond is a one-woman practice. My ambition is to grow into a small boutique consultancy within three years; bringing together a team that shares the same belief in balance, results and human connection.
Balance as a way of living
Beyond my professional role, I am someone who values balance; not just as a concept, but as a way of living and working. Standing every morning on my yoga mat is like a mirror in my life; observing changes day by day and learning to accept them. In a world full of distraction, I have learned to focus from within; and how powerful that stillness in movement can be. Yoga teaches me to stay true to myself and to create movement from that place; rather than reacting to everything around me.
I live near the ocean in Portugal, where the powerful waves and the wind remind me how small we are; and how much we gain when we stop resisting and move with the flow. That same principle shapes how I work; combining focus and flexibility, ambition and realism, thinking and feeling. I believe real results come from alignment; from the inside out. Because those who know themselves, understand the organisation; and those who understand the organisation, improve the care.
Complexity is where I start, not where I stay.
